Taizé Service

Caught in blur of schedules and timetables, people in today’s world often thirst for a richer inner life and real heart communion with God. On most third Sunday evenings of the month, First Baptist holds a contemplative service of prayer, scripture and silent meditation in the style of Taizé to offer a time of communal contemplation. A cross-section of persons throughout our community attend our Taizé service on a regular basis. For more information about the rich healing history of Taizé since the destruction of the Holocaust, please visit here.

Taizé is a time to focus on who you are and whose you are, then carry it outward into the world. We invite you to join us and experience this meditative form of worship. Refer to the month’s special dates in the sidebar on the right or download the PDF of the calendar for upcoming Taizé service dates.
